The castle ruins in Tworków

The ancient castle of Tworków, first mentioned in 1525, has undergone many changes over the centuries. At the beginning of the 16th century, Jan Sup von Fullstein became the owner of the castle, and in 1567 it was rebuilt by Kasper Wyskota of Wodnik. In the following years, the castle changed owners, including Hynek Petrovich Charwat of Wieczy, Wilhelm and Ewa Boreck, and the von Saurma-Jeltsch family, who carried out a major reconstruction of the building in the Neo-Renaissance style in 1872-1874.
