Gate of the Palace in Krzyżanowice 'decorated with light'. In Krzyżanowice, the neo-Gothic entrance gate to the Rose Palace has gained a new attraction - illuminated lighting, making it an interesting place even after dark.
The ceremony to officially switch on the illumination took place on 5 August 2020, and among the invited guests were representatives of associations and organisations, local officials and the Mother General and Sister Superior from the congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary of Perpetual Help. In his speech, the mayor of the municipality, Grzegorz Utracki, mentioned the investments that had been made in the grounds of the palace with the help of the municipality, including the construction of a new fence and car parks. At a cost of more than PLN 700,000, the municipality also contributed to the cleaning of the surroundings of the gate building and the construction of lighting for it. The mayor of the municipality, Grzegorz Utracki, also mentioned plans for further revitalisation of the gate, the restoration of which is expected to help the congregation in the future. The lighting of the gate was officially switched on after dark, making the building even more attractive to tourists and residents in the area.
