Hroza Avenue is a historic single-row avenue, meaning there is one row of trees on each side of the road. It is also a multi-species avenue. Lime trees are the most numerous, but there are also maples, sycamores and chestnut trees, each of which is more than 100 years old. It connects the villages of Tworków and Bieńkowice. Hroza Avenue is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric places in the area. It is a historic trail that runs through fields, impassable by car, making it possible to go on foot or by bike from Tworkow to Bieńkowice. The Hroza Avenue is located on a former causeway, and its name comes from the Moravian language - "hrozie".
The Hroza Avenue stands out not only for its historical value, but also for the unique specimens of trees that can be seen here. These include old and valuable trees such as small-leaved and broad-leaved lindens, chestnut trees, red beech trees and pedunculate oaks. The number of these most valuable trees is around 40. During autumn, when the leaves of the trees turn golden and red, this place looks particularly beautiful. Hroza Avenue is an ideal place for walks, even with a pram, as well as for photo shoots surrounded by beautiful nature.
The best way to reach Hroza Avenue is to set off from the Tworków chateau, passing through the chateau park. On this trek, you will pass the swimming pool, the Trzeciok Pond, the Historic Mill and even the Indian village. When you reach Hroza Avenue, you will have the opportunity to relax in beautiful nature. During your stay at the chateau in Tworków, you should also climb the castle tower, which is accessible almost all year round and provides wonderful views. This tower is part of the Trail of Silesian Towers in the Upper Oder Valley.
